St. Michael at Bowes Junior School
Most pupils from Tottenhall Infant School transition to Year 3 at St. Michael at Bowes Junior School. We have established strong links with the junior school to ensure that children experience a smooth transition. Our collaborative efforts include organising joint events and providing support for both pupils and parents throughout the process. This partnership is designed to help children feel comfortable and confident as they move into their next stage of education.

A very warm welcome to SMAB! We are so pleased that you have chosen our wonderful school for the next stage of your child’s education. The documents in this section provide you with all the necessary information to plan for your child’s start with us. If there is anything else you would like to know, or anything you need to tell us, please do not hesitate to contact the school directly. You can also find members of the staff team on gate duty in the morning and evening before and after school – please come and have a chat!
For the 2025-2026 academic year, your child’s first day at school will be Wednesday, 3rd September, at 8:45 am. The school gates in Grenoble Gardens will open at 8.40 am, and you are welcome to come in and help us to settle them in their new classrooms.
